Dennis Yeats Wheatley (1897-1977), was a leading English writer of the twentieth century. The majority of his works were novels, either stand alone or in series, usually of the thriller genre and often dealing with occult and supernatural subjects. He was quite a prolific book signer and inscriber so there are a lot of signed Dennis Wheatley books out there. Subject to the usual variables, these tend to attract higher prices.

There has been some considerable upward movement in the prices of Dennis Wheatley first editions in recent years, particularly those published before the second world war. Unless otherwise stated, prices shown are for UK first edition first impression books in VG condition, in VG dust jackets. These are often difficult to find. The prices are based on current market prices and are suggested for guidance only: Further research is recommended as there are many variables which can affect the price of a book.
